DNA analyst depend heavily on technology, the analyst use computers to obtain database and with that database they can obtain alot of information regarding the investigation for example if the crime dealt with rape then the criminal has to cooperate and let the analyst obtain some of their DNA /, they have to analyzeit and then use technology to ruthe database in order to determine if the DNA matches the suspect. If it does match then they are charged with sexual assault and are found guilty.
