Research question: In what ways does bullying affect the GPA of students at Stern MASS? The first illustration demonstrates the overall percentages of stern mass students, varying from both genders. This colored graph shows that the highest percentage response for GPA is 2.5-2.99. The second highest percentage ranges from 3.0-3.49, the two high percentages are very closely related they show a 1 point gap. The second illustration shows the percentage of students who have admitted to being a victim of bullying. The second graph highest response is “Never been bullied”, which we think that it is not real data because they might of not taken the survey seriously. Or they are not educated on the forms of bullying such as verbal, cyber bullying, indirect/direct and physical bullying. The reason why we chose to compare them is because we think that when students are dealing with bullying they are more likely to perform poorly in school, from personal experience if you are going through something it will just shift your mood and you will not care about your grades and education. It was interesting to try and find out if bullying affects students GPA. We want to confirm that bullying impacts school work. The survey result show that more than half of the school responds to the answer never have been bullied, the problem might be that they don’t want to admit it or they just have no idea on what bullying consist of. Comparing our research question with the results will determine if bullying impacts students school career. Data Project.
